La tarde de este domingo 14 de enero de 2024, se hará la entrega de la edición 29 de los Critics Choice Awards, reconociendo lo más destacado en categorías de cine y de televisión.
En el rubro cinematográfico, la más nominada es Barbie con 18 candidaturas, incluyendo mejor película. Le siguen Oppenheimer y Poor Things con 13 nominaciones para cada una, y Killers of the Flower Moon con 12 nominaciones.
Las cuatro películas mencionadas fueron nominadas a Mejor Película, junto a American Fiction, Maestro, Past Lives, Saltburn, The Color Purple y The Holdovers.
En cuando al rubro televisivo, el drama original de Apple TV+, The Morning Show lidera las nominaciones con 6 candidaturas.
La organización corrigió un error durante el anuncio de hoy, explicando que Carla Gugino es otra de las nominadas a mejor actriz en serie limitada o película hecha para tv por su papel en The Fall of the House of Usher.
La gala de los Critics Choice se transmitirá en vivo por The CW en los Estados Unidos, y por TNT y HBO Max en Latinoamérica, a partir de las 18 hrs MX. La conducción correrá de nueva cuenta por Chelsea Handler.
