Los nominados que comprenderán la edición número 22 de los Critics' Choice Awards en el rubro televisivo fueron anunciados esta semana.
Esta vez, la ceremonia que será televisada el próximo 11 de diciembre en A&E, se ha visto afectada por la decisión de la Asociación de Periodistas de la Televisión, de otorgar acceso exclusivo a las nominaciones únicamente a dos medios. Por lo anterior, algunos otros periodistas que tradicionalmente se vuelcan a cubrir la premiación, han renunciado a seguir formando parte de la asociación en signo de protesta. Como resultado de la acción, los nominados en esta ocasión han sido seleccionados por un grupo más pequeño que en años anteriores, para ser exactos, por 15% menos.
La cadena de televisión HBO, lidera las nominaciones con un total de 22 menciones, seguida de ABC y la plataforma de streaming Netflix con 14 cada una, mientras que FX, gracias principalmente al gran éxito de People v OJ Simpson, quedó en cuarto lugar con 12 nominaciones.
