Tiene mucho que ver con que han pasado muchos años y ya los ewoks no nos funcionan, pero hay un consenso casi universal sobre cual es la mejor entrega no sólo de la trilogía original, si no de la saga hasta la fecha, es la que dirigió Irvin Kershner (ojalá ya muera este debate de si los fans deben hacerse cargo de estos remakes, adaptaciones y reboots, vean el horror que fue The Hobbit y lo mal que terminó Superman Returns), nuestro bien amado Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, Dan Flesher ha creado este trailer del episodio cinco en el estilo del avance para The force Awakens que vimos en Celebration.

 

Y sí, este metraje (pietaje) no nos resulta ya familiar, y es que es de uno de esos proyectos que intentan restaurar las cintas a como los mayores las conocieron en la pantalla grande hace casi 40 años.

This is a reconstruction of the 1980 theatrical version of The Empire Strikes Back. The original shots were painstakingly restored using various sources (listed below) and the film received an extensive shot by shot colour correction.

The remastered version (v2.0) represents a significant improvement in picture quality over the earlier 1.0 version due to the use of better encoding and higher quality sources and replacing many of the despecialized shots with
higher quality ones.

The MKV version contains a large number of audio tracks, including the latest versions of the preservations of the original audio mixes in DTS-HD, three different commentary tracks, an isolated score and dubbing tracks in 13 different languages.

commentary tracks and an isolated score.
