La tarde de este domingo 05 de enero de 2025, se estará realizando la gala de la edición 82 de los Golden Globes.
En esta ocasión, los Golden Globes 2025 tienen un número ampliado de nominados en las 27 categorías, incrementándose de cinco a seis. Además, las dos categorías previamente introducidas en la ceremonia de 2024, a mejor comediante de stand-up en televisión y logro cinematográfico y de taquilla, continúan en esta edición.
Las películas Emilia Pérez y The Brutalist llegan a la ceremonia como las más nominadas, con 10 y 7 candidaturas, respectivamente. Le siguen Conclave con 6, Anora y The Substance con 5 para cada una, Wicked, Challengers, The Wild Robot y A Real Pain con 4 para cada una, A Complete Unknown con 3, y Dune: Part Two con 2.
Por parte del rubro televisivo, es The Bear la más nominada, con 5 candidaturas, seguida de Only Murders in the Building y Shogun con 4 candidaturas para cada una, la rom-com sensación Nobody Wants This debuta con 3 nominaciones, la misma cantidad para Baby Reindeer, Disclaimer, y Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story para cada una. La gran sorpresa de los nominados en televisión fue la segunda temporada de Squid Game, como mejor serie drama, a pesar de no haber sido estrenada al momento de haberse anunciado las nominaciones.
La ceremonia de los Globos de Oro será conducida por la comediante Nikki Glaser. Será emitida en vivo por CBS en los Estados Unidos, y en streaming por Paramount+. En México será emitida por TNT y Max simultáneamente en punto de las 7:00 pm (hora del centro de México).
