Los Film Independent Spirit Awards, que anualmente reconocen lo mejor del cine y tv independiente, anunció a los nominados de su edición 38, los Spirit Awards 2023, con la emisión en vivo de la ceremonia de premiación programada para efectuarse el sábado 4 de marzo de 2023 en Santa Mónica, CA.
Las nominaciones presentadas por Taylour Paige y Raúl Castillo, son lideradas por Everything Everywhere All At Once con 8 candidaturas, seguida de TÁR con 7 candidaturas. El anuncio se reveló de manera virtual y lo puedes ver aquí o al final de la nota.
Por primera vez en la historia de Film Independent, las categorías en roles protagónicos y de reparto, cambiaron a género neutro, tanto en nominaciones de cine como de televisión (las nominaciones de televisión serán reveladas el 13 de diciembre de 2022).
OJO AL DATO: Para ser elegible a los FISA, el filme debe tener un presupuesto de hasta $30 millones de dólares (aumentando el costo de años anteriores de $22.7 mdd).
