Los nominados a los Premios del Cine Independiente Británico 2017 (British Independent Film Awards) fueron anunciados y en Cine3 les traemos todos los pormenores.
El drama Lady Macbeth lidera las nominaciones con 15 menciones, seguida por la biopic The Death of Stalin y el aclamado por la crítica, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
La ceremonia que será conducida por Mark Gatiss, se celebrará el próximo 10 de diciembre. Gary Oldman será homenajeado con el Premio Variety.
Por otro lado, la legendaria Vanessa Redgrave recibirá el prestigioso Premio Richard Harris por seis décadas de sobresaliente trabajo en la industria de cine británico.
Redgrave se unirá a una fila de actores que han recibido el galardón en previas ediciones como, John Hurt, Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fienes, Emma Thompson y Chiwetel Ejiofor. Redgrave admitió tener “Suerte de involucrarme en un amplio rango de películas en mi carrera, pero me siento muy orgullosa de mi trabajo en filmes británicos.”
