Arranca el Middle East International Film Festival 09

El Middle East International Film Festival (MEIFF) uno de los festivales más importantes del mundo árabe, estará arrancando el día de hoy en Abu Dhabi, y se extenderá hasta el 17 de este mes. Llama la atención que, dentro de la lista de películas incluidas, veamos títulos como The Men Who Stare at Goats, que son abiertas críticas a la situación del Medio Oriente. Si bien los Emiratos Árabes Unidos es uno de los países más progresistas dentro de la comunidad musulmana, será cuestión de ver cual será la reacción de los demás al respecto.
