La Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y de la Televisión (British Academy Film Awards; BAFTA) reveló el listado completo con todos sus nominados a la edición 77 del Premio BAFTA.
Liderando el anuncio se encuentra Oppenheimer de Christopher Nolan, con 13 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película, director, y guion adaptado. La película se quedó a una nominación de empatar el récord de 14 nominaciones que la cinta bélica All Quiet On the Western Front obtuvo en 2023.
Por detrás se encuentra Poor Things de Yorgos Lanthimos con 11 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película y mejor película británica y guion adaptado.
Killers of the Flower Moon de Martin Scorsese obtuvo 9 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película, actor de reparto, y mejor fotografía para el mexicano Rodrigo Prieto. Scorsese no fue nominado a mejor director, y Lily Gladstone, quien ha estado en todas las ceremonias de premiación como nominada (y ganadora en algunas ocasiones) no fue nominada a mejor actriz.
The Zone of Interest de Jonathan Glazer también obtuvo 9 nominaciones. Un poco más atrás se encuentran Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers y Maestro, todas con 7 nominaciones para cada una. All of Us Strangers obtuvo 6 candidaturas, y Barbie de Greta Gerwig y Saltburn de Emerald Fennell se quedaron con 5 nominaciones cada una. Gerwig no fue nominada a mejor directora.
