La Academia de Artes y Ciencias de la Televisión (ATAS) reveló las nominaciones a los Premios Emmy 2024 correspondientes a la edición 76 del galardón, la mañana del miércoles 17 de julio.
La serie de FX, Shogun lidera el anuncio con 25 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor serie de drama. Le siguen The Bear con 23 nominaciones, Only Murders in the Building con 21 nominaciones, True Detective: Night Country con 19 nominaciones, y The Crown con 18 nominaciones.
Tony Hale, Sheryl Lee Ralph y el presidente de ATAS, Cris Abrego anunciaron a los nominados en una ceremonia que fue transmitida por live stream a todo el mundo.
La 76ª edición de los Emmy se transmitirá en vivo desde el Peacock Theatre de Los Ángeles, CA., el domingo 15 de septiembre de 5 a 8 p.m. Hora del Pacífico / 8-11 p.m. ET en ABC en los Estados Unidos. En México y resto de Latinoamérica la transmisión correrá a cargo de TNT.
Las ceremonias de Artes Creativas están programadas para el sábado 7 y el domingo 8 de septiembre. Aún no se ha nombrado un anfitrión para la ceremonia de los Emmy.
- Para ser elegible para los Emmy 2024, la programación televisiva debía transmitirse entre el 1 de junio de 2023 y el 31 de mayo de 2024.
Recordemos que los Emmys 2023 tuvieron lugar en enero de 2024, luego de ser pospuestos a raíz de las huelgas de los sindicatos de los guionistas y los actores.
