La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMPAS) acaba de anunciar la mañana de este martes 23 de enero, las nominaciones al Premio Óscar 2024 correspondientes a su edición 96, con un live stream conducido por Zazie Beetz y Jack Quaid a través de los sitios oficiales de los Óscars (oscars.com, oscars.org), y sus páginas oficiales en YouTube, Twitter (ahora X), entre otros.
Este es el segundo año consecutivo, que el anuncio se lleva a cabo en persona con una audiencia frente a miembros de la prensa y publicistas, desde la pandemia.
La película Oppenheimer lidera las nominaciones con 13 candidaturas; le siguen Poor Things con 11, Killers of the Flower Moon con 10, Barbie con 8, Maestro con 7, The Holdovers, American Fiction, The Zone of Interest y Anatomy of a Fall con 5, Napoleon con 3, Nyad, Past Lives y La sociedad de la nieve con 2.
La gala de los Óscars 2024 se llevará a cabo el domingo 10 de marzo en el Dolby Theatre en Ovation Hollywood en Los Ángeles, con Jimmy Kimmel repitiendo como anfitrión por segundo año consecutivo, y su cuarta vez en general. En México y resto de Latinoamérica se transmitirán en vivo a través de la señal de TNT y HBO Max.
