Nominaciones al Óscar 2020: Joker lidera con 11 nominaciones

Los actores John Cho e Issa Rae anunciaron hace breves momentos, a los nominados de las 24 categorías que conforman la edición 92 del Premio Óscar de la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMPAS; por sus siglas en inglés) a través de un live streaming en su sitio oficial.

Joker lidera el anuncio con un total de 11 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película, Actor, Director y Guion Adaptado; le siguen The Irishman, 1917  y Once Upon a Time in Hollywood con 10 nominaciones para cada una; Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, Marriage Story y Parasite lograron 6 nominaciones cada una.

Joker comparte la categoría a Mejor Película con 1917, Ford v Ferrari, Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, Marriage Story, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood y Parasite.

Los miembros de cada rama de la Academia del Óscar, son quienes votan para determinar a los nominados de sus respectivas categorías. Es decir que, la rama de editores vota por mejor edición, la rama de actores por mejor actor, y así sucesivamente. Todos los miembros de todas las ramas, votan para determinar los nominados a mejor película.

Por segundo año consecutivo, la gala de premiación no contará con anfitrión. El galardón será entregado el domingo 9 de febrero de 2020 en vivo a través de ABC en Estados Unidos, y canal TNT en Latinoamérica, a las 5pm (PT), 8pm (ET).
