Las nominaciones al Premio Óscar 2023 acaban de ser anunciadas la mañana de este martes 24 de enero, con un live stream conducido por Allison Williams y Riz Ahmed a través de los sitios oficiales de los Óscars (oscars.com, oscars.org), además de sus páginas en YouTube, Twitter, entre otras redes sociales.
Por primera vez desde 2026, el anuncio se llevó a cabo en persona con una audiencia frente a miembros de la prensa y publicistas, en el Samuel Goldwyn Theater en Beverly Hills, California.
La película Everything Everywhere All At Once de A24 lidera las nominaciones con 11 candidaturas (de 23 categorías en total) correspondientes a la edición 95 del Premio de la Academia, incluyendo categorías a mejor película, directores, actriz en rol protagónico, actriz en rol secundario, actor de reparto, etc.
Le siguen The Banshees of Inishering de Searchlight Pictures y All Quiet on the Western Front de Netflix con 9 para cada una. Elvis obtuvo 8, Tár 7, Top Gun: Maverick 6, y Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 5.
La categoría a mejor película la conforman EEAAO, The Banshees of Inishering, All Quiet on the Western Front, junto a Avatar: The Way of Water, Elvis, The Fabelmans, Tár, Top Gun: Maverick, Triange of Sadness, y Women Talking.
Jimmy Kimmel será el anfitrión de los Óscars 2023, por tercera vez, con Glenn Weiss y Ricky Kirshner como productores.
Los organizadores de la premiación rectificarán una de las acciones más criticadas en su ceremonia de 2022, donde no fueron emitidas en vivo 8 de 23 categorías que conforman la premiación. Para la gala de 2023, se ha confirmado que TODAS LAS CATEGORÍAS SERÁN PRESENTADAS TOTALMENTE EN VIVO.
La edición 95 de los Óscars se llevarán a cabo el domingo 12 de marzo de 2023 en el Dolby Theatre de Ovation Hollywood, con transmisión en vivo por ABC en EE.UU., y TNT en México y resto de Latinoamérica.
