La “renovada” Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera en Hollywood (HFPA; Hollywood Foreign Press Associaton), presentó la mañana de este lunes 13 de diciembre, la lista de todos los nominados para la edición 79 de los Golden Globes.
El anuncio se hizo vía live stream a través del sitio oficial de la organización en YouTube, con Helen Hoehne, la nueva presidenta de la HFPA, y Snoop Dogg.
- Este año no fue requisito enviar presentaciones por parte de los estudios para la consideración a nominación.
La ceremonia de entrega del Globo de Oro se llevará a cabo el domingo 9 de enero de 2022, volviendo a su fecha habitual, tras haber tenido que posponer su ceremonia de 2021 para el mes de febrero. Los detalles aún no han sido revelados.
Las nominaciones a los Golden Globes 2022, fueron dominadas en el lado de cine por Belfast y The Power of the Dog con siete nominaciones para cada una, mientras Succession, que este domingo 12 de diciembre emitió el final de la tercera temporada en HBO, dominó el rubro televisivo con cinco nominaciones.
De acuerdo al anuncio de la HFPA, y después de lo que ha sido un año de escrutinio para los organizadores:
“Durante los últimos ocho meses, la HFPA ha revisado completamente sus estatutos, implementando cambios radicales de arriba hacia abajo que abordan la ética y el código de conducta, la diversidad, la equidad y la inclusión, la gobernanza, la membresía y más. Recientemente, la HFPA admitió a su clase más grande y diversa hasta la fecha de 21 nuevos miembros, todos los cuales son votantes por primera vez del Globo de Oro.”
- Los Premios Golden Globe o Globo de Oro, se conforman de 25 categorías de cine y televisión. La HFPA se conforma actualmente de 111 periodistas de todo el mundo, radicados en Estados Unidos.
