El Sindicato de los Productores (PGA; Producers Guild of America) reveló la mañana del viernes 12 de enero, a todos los nominados para los PGA Awards 2024 en las categorías de cine y de televisión.
Desde la fundación del PGA, el llamado Darryl F. Zanuck Award, ha predicho 24 de las últimas 32 ganadoras del Óscar a Mejor Película; desde 2009, solamente tres películas ganadoras del Premio PGA no han ganado el Óscar a mejor película (The Big Short, La La Land, y 1917).
Las nominadas al Darryl F. Zanuck Award 2024 son: American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, Poor Things, y Zone of Interest.
En la categoría animada: The Boy and the Heron, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtleS: Mutant Mayhem y Elemental.
En la categoría serie de televisión de drama: The Crown, The Diplomat, The Last of Us, The Morning Show y Succession fueron las nominadas, mientras que la categoría de comedia es conformada por Barry, The Bear, Jury Duty, Only Murders in the Building y Ted Lasso. En cuanto a serie limitada: All the Light We Cannot See, Beef, Daisy Jones & The Six, Fargo, y Lessons in Chemistry.
Martin Scorsese recibirá el David O. Selznick Achievement Award, mientras que Charles D. King recibirá el Milestone Award.
La edición 35 del Producers Guild Award se llevará a cabo el domingo 25 de febrero de 2024.
