Hace unos momentos la Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y de la Televisión, concluyó la ceremonia de la entrega del Premio BAFTA 2018 (#EEBAFTAs) y en Cine3 te traemos los pormenores con todos los ganadores del llamado Óscar británico.
La edición 71 del prestigioso galardón, reconoció con su máxima presea como mejor filme del año al drama Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. La película, que llegaba a la ceremonia con 9 nominaciones, también se alzó con el BAFTA a la mejor actriz (Frances McDormand), mejor actor de reparto (Sam Rockwell), mejor película británica y mejor guion original.
La más nominada de la noche con 12 menciones, The Shape of Water de Guillermo del Toro, se alzó con el BAFTA al mejor director, mejor banda sonora original (Alexander Desplat) y mejor diseño de producción.
Gary Oldman, por su parte, se llevó el premio como mejor actor por su interpretación como Winston Churchill en la biopic Darkest Hour, fortaleciendo –aún más– su posición como el candidato favorito de cara al Óscar.
