La Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y la Televisión (BAFTA) reveló hace instantes a todos los ganadores del Premio BAFTA 2021 (vía sitio oficial) también conocido como el equivalente británico del Premio Óscar.
Entre los grandes triunfadores se encuentran Nomadland, que se hizo acreedora a la Mejor Película, Actriz (Frances McDormand), Directora (Chloé Zhao) y Fotografía; Promising Young Woman, que ganó el Bafta a Mejor Guion Original (Emerald Fennell) y Mejor Película Británica (Fennell); The Father alzó el premio a Mejor Guion Adaptado y Mejor Actor (Anthony Hopkins); Daniel Kaluuya fue nombrado el Mejor Actor de Reparto (Judas and the Black Messiah), Yuh- Jung Youn Mejor Actriz de Reparto (Minari), My Octopus Teacher el Mejor Documental, Another Round como la Mejor Película en Idioma No Inglés, Soul como Mejor Película Animada.
Los sonidistas mexicanos Michelle Couttolenc, Jaime Baksht y Carlos Cortés, ganaron el Bafta a Mejor Sonido por la película Sound of Metal de Amazon Prime Video.
