La edición 95 del Premio Óscar, se estará llevando a cabo este domingo 12 de marzo de 2023 desde el Dolby Theatre de Ovation Hollywood, donde ya se está realizando la alfombra champagne –cambiando su tradicional rojo de cada año– con transmisión en vivo por ABC en Estados Unidos, y por canal TNT y HBO Max para México y resto de Latinoamérica.
La película Everything Everywhere All At Once de A24 lidera las nominaciones al Premio Óscar 2023 con 11 candidaturas (de 23 categorías en total), incluyendo categorías a mejor película, dirección, actriz en rol protagónico, actriz y actor en rol de reparto, etc.
Las otras nominadas a mejor película son All Quiet on the Western Front, Avatar: The Way of Water, The Banshees of Inishering, Elvis, The Fabelmans, Tár, Top Gun: Maverick, Triange of Sadness, y Women Talking.

En la ceremonia tendremos las interpretaciones en vivo de Rihanna (Lift Me Up de Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Sofia Carson y Diane Warren (Applause de Tell It Like a Woman), Rahul Sipligunj y Kaala Bhairava (Naatu Naatu de RRR), y David Byrne, Stephanie Hsu y Son Lux (This Is a Life de Everything Everywhere All at Once).
La ceremonia contará con Jimmy Kimmel como el anfitrión de la premiación, por tercera vez. Glenn Weiss y Ricky Kirshner son los productores.
Para esta edición, los organizadores de la premiación rectificarán una de las acciones más criticadas en su ceremonia de 2022, donde no fueron emitidas en vivo 8 de 23 categorías que conforman la premiación. Para la gala de 2023, se ha confirmado que TODAS LAS CATEGORÍAS SERÁN PRESENTADAS TOTALMENTE EN VIVO.
