Razzies 2017: Batman v Superman y Zoolander 2, lideran las nominaciones a lo peor del cine

A solo un día de conocer las nominaciones al Óscar, galardón que culmina la temporada de premiación 2016-2017 reconociendo lo mejor del cine del año recién concluido, nos llegan los contendientes a los Razzie Awards, centrados en todo lo contrario: LAS PEORES PELÍCULAS DEL 2016.

Zoolander 2, la secuela protagonizada por Ben Stiller y Owen Wilson, tiene el “honor” de ser la más nominada de la edición 37 de los Razzies con nueve menciones. Le sigue muy cerca, la controvertida entrega de DC Comics, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice con ocho menciones. Ambas cintas “engalanan” la categoría como peor película, la cual también está conformada por la comedia Dirty Grandpa, la secuela Independence Day: Resurgence, la de aventura y fantasía Gods of Egypt, y el documental Hilary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party.

Zoolander además, también está en las categorías como peor actor, peor director, peor actriz de reparto y peor actor de reparto por doble partida. Por su parte, los coprotagonistas masculinos de Batman v Superman, (Henry Cavill y Ben Affleck), también se encuentran nominados como peor actor. Gerard Butler, Robert De Niro y Dinesh D’Souza completan la categoría.

Por otro lado, la categoría como peores actrices quedó así: Megan Fox (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), Tyler Perry (BOO! A Madea Halloween), Julia Roberts (Mother’s Day), Becky Turner (Hilary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party), Naomi Watts (Divergent Series: Allegiant y Shut In) y su coprotagonista, Shailene Woodley (Allegiant).

¿La gran sorpresa? Suicide Squad, la que muchos críticos catalogaron como una bazofia, solamente alcanzó dos nominaciones, a peor actor (Jared Leto) y peor guion.

Este año, los Premios Razzie elevaron el número de contendientes (de 5 a 6) en todas sus categorías. La ceremonia donde se anunciará a los ganadores, se llevará a cabo el 25 de febrero, un día antes a los Premios de la Academia.
