343 Industries, Xbox Entertainment Studios, y Scott Free Productions por fin materializarán (una) tan llevada y traida adaptación de Halo (la serie de Spielberg sigue, y es otro proyecto) , el juego de bungie que iba para PC, se lo llevo Microsoft en su llegada al mundo consolero, y lo demás, pues es historia.
Ridley Scott me tiene muy preocupado, nadie tenía tantas ganas de disfrutar Prometeo como su humilde servidor, pero en la rebatinga que si era precuela de Alien o no , el guión paso por muchas manos, y tristemente, el tiro de gracia se lo dio el insufrible Damon Lindelof , ese que tiene el toque de Midas inverso, todo lo que toca se vuelve basura, y aquella cinta, aunque visualmente espectacular, con un gran reparto, nos dejo fríos con un guión atroz, que, los que tenemos fe, esperamos sea resuelto, un poco, en la secuela que llega en 2016.
Scott sólo produce esta "digital feature" con guión de Paul Scheuring y el director puede ser Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, se especula que tendrá un estilo semejante a Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.
¿Será que un proyecto como este nos devuelva al Scott de las grandes gestas como Blade Runner (con todo y el pleito con Ford) ?
Ridley Scott, known for his work on Alien and Blade Runner, will be working with 343i, Microsoft, and other legendary film industry names to produce a separate Halo Digital Feature.
The Halo TV Series has been under wraps for quite some time, and rumors began circulating as to whether a film might be in production. According to TheWrap.com, we have a separate feature on the way for the Halo franchise. Listed people include the legendary Ridley Scott, Paul Scheuring, and David Zucker, taking on the roles of Executive Producer, Writer, and Assistant to the Executive Producer. Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, known well for Battlestar Galactica, is confirmed to direct the feature. This will likely not hit the big screen and remain as a digital or DVD copy at best. Additionally, Microsoft said that this film is, “completely separate from the premium Halo television series executive produced by Steven Spielberg, which is still on track.” as well they stated that the plot would follow a, “surgically-enhanced super soldier who is not Master Chief”.
